Before you choose any integration solution, what do you need to find out first? In this video (DAMA-CDMP series, Part 7) we cover the Plan and Analyze activity from the DMBOK2 chapter on Data Integration and Interoperability, in five steps: define data integration and lifecycle requirements, perform data discovery, document data lineage, profile the data, and collect business rules. Each step has a problem, a step-by-step explanation, a full worked example, and a comparison with the previous step, and we link everything back to Parts 1 to 6. The video ends with 5 practice questions.
Explanations are in Egyptian Arabic, and slides and key definitions are in English.
