Today, we are in the heart of the township to visit Belinda. Her story is one of incredible resilience—managing a household and a garden with a strict 100-liter daily water limit. In this environment, every drop isn't just precious; it's a lifeline for the trees that will one day feed this community.
We are officially at Tree Number 13 of our 7,682-tree mission. Seeing the "layers" Belinda is planting—from carrots and beets to future fruit trees—shows that permaculture isn't just a hobby here; it's a survival strategy.
The "Sister Tree" Challenge 🌳 We are taking this mission global! I have officially challenged @DavidtheGood and @ProjectKamp to join us. The challenge is simple: plant one "Sister Tree" on your land to represent the 7,600 trees we are putting into the Namibian dust.
Help us get their attention! Tag them in the comments and let them know that the desert is turning green, one bucket of water at a time.
