UGC पर भयंकर खलबली, RSS BJP ने बनाया नया प्लान! General | Sawarn | SC ST OBC | UGC | Modi | Bhagwat It is now being increasingly acknowledged that the BJP could suffer significant political damage over the UGC issue and its handling of concerns raised by the upper-caste community. That is why there appears to be considerable activity within both the BJP and the RSS. The RSS and the BJP seem to have worked out a new strategy. After remaining largely silent for months, the RSS has finally issued a statement on the matter. According to the RSS: The UGC Equity Regulations, 2026, are “imbalanced”. RSS All India Publicity Chief Sunil Ambekar said: “The Sangh has made its position clear that the UGC circular was imbalanced. This concern was brought to the attention of the authorities, and both the government and the UGC took note of it. The court has also stayed the regulations, and the matter is currently before the court. We believe that whatever decision is taken going forward should be balanced. The government must ensure this, and the matter will also proceed before the court in the same direction.” Meanwhile, a major statement has also come from the BJP. Vinod Tawde, the BJP's in-charge for Uttar Pradesh, made an important statement regarding the anger among upper-caste voters and the UGC issue. He said: BJP leaders will reach out to upper-caste voters and engage in direct conversations with them on the UGC issue. They will explain the issue and the party's position to them. In other words, both the RSS and the BJP appear to have adopted a new approach. They seem to have realised that remaining silent could cause further damage. At the very least, they want to reassure the upper-caste community that the BJP and the RSS are taking its concerns seriously. But people are questioning this approach. One user wrote: “There is no consensus even within the Sangh Parivar on UGC. One side, the RSS, calls the UGC guidelines imbalanced. The other, the BJP, talks about explaining the issue to voters, implying that the guidelines are fine and that the problem lies with people's understanding. But the truth is that both are misleading the public, particularly the General Category community.” VIDEO OF RSS STATEMENT Similarly, people have been reacting to the RSS statement. One user wrote: “The RSS no longer needs to issue clarifications on UGC because the court will deliver its verdict on the matter. The real issues now are reforms in reservation and the SC/ST Act. Either discuss these issues openly or leave the right to decide on them to the upper-caste community.” Another user wrote that opposition to the UGC regulations, the SC/ST Act and caste-based reservations has kept the BJP on edge. The post further said: “Now that elections are approaching, the RSS is calling the UGC regulations imbalanced. But why were these regulations introduced in the first place? Why isn't anyone explaining that?” Many people believe that the RSS and the BJP have started speaking about UGC now because they have realised that the issue could cause significant political damage to the BJP. Some journalists have also claimed, citing an alleged internal survey, that the BJP could face losses over the issue. These journalists say it remains to be seen which option the government chooses before the Uttar Pradesh elections. They have also claimed that the Central Government has made up its mind to withdraw the controversial UGC circular. According to these claims, the government has now realised that the upper-caste community, which allegedly felt it was being treated as second-class citizens, must be given due respect. They say the upper-caste community has awakened and will no longer remain tied to any political party. People are also making other strong statements. One user wrote: “If the upper-caste community had not opposed the UGC issue, the RSS would have silently allowed this injustice to continue. It is clear that for the RSS and the BJP, only votes matter, not ideology. Perhaps that is why a leader who ordered firing on Ram devotees was honoured with a Padma award.” Another user said: “Rolling back UGC is not enough. The government was forced to retreat because people protested. Otherwise, its intentions are no secret. The time when people could be fed political rhetoric in the name of Hindutva and nationalism is over. Now there needs to be a discussion about welfare schemes for the General Category, changes in the EWS age limit, scholarships and reforms in SC/ST policies.” Join this channel to get access to perks:    / @inblive24
