James Kennelly for Callahan 2023

CWRU Fighting Gobies nominate James “Rito” Kennelly for the 2023 Callahan Award. James has participated in sports throughout his life, excelling particularly in the art of Mario-kart and frisbee. He decided against his career of professional karting and luckily for us decided to pursue frisbee instead. Since his freshman year at CWRU James has been an undeniable presence, one the field and has only grown his status since. James not only plays like a force of nature, but he also leads by maintaining a cool head and masterminding much of our team’s strategy and gameplay. His tenure is obvious from his jaw-dropping plays and his ability to execute under pressure. He’s made his mark on CWRU though he is also a key player for his club team, Garden State Ultimate, as well as his championship-winning Wildwood team (Let's go Glugs!) James’ personality on and off the field is going to be impossible to replace for all the wisdom and goblin behavior he’s shared with us.
