Sitting on the piano, playing it over and over, I was speaking positive words of healing. If you know our 2 sons, (who were around 9 and 12 at the time), you could ask them if they remember mums song "shake the devil off", They will confidently say YES. The words to this song are very powerful words of spiritual warfare against the enemy who comes to destroy lives by so many means. How wonderful though, we can stand against the devil and have absolute victory in Jesus name. Acts 28:5 says: NIV Version 'But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects' In the Amplified it says "Then (Paul simply) shook off the small creature into the fire and suffered no evil effects." John 10:10 "The devil, the thief, comes to kill, steal and destroy, but I the Lord God come to give life and life abundant." Feel free to share this song with your friends and family. Words to a song offering hope in a hopeless world. May you be inspired and blessed. ➡️VISUALS & VIDEO EDITING: 👨‍💻👨‍💻along with all creative direction, arrangement, and final production, were completed by myself using video editing software. I love music and love writing, I trust you will be inspired by these Songs of Hope. 📝🙏All original words, my own words. 📝🙏 ➡️MY STORY OF WRITING: 🙏❤️‍🔥📝I began writing simple worship songs in the late 1990s, some of which were used in my local church. Through seasons of sadness some years ago, the Lord gave me words of hope, healing, and encouragement. 🎹🎶 In recent years, I asked Him how I could use my music and words for His glory. Through a sweet moment with my three-year-old grandson’s song in early 2025, I discovered music software that helped bring those written words to songs. I believe God is using technology in this generation to help share the message of Jesus across the world through music. 🙏My prayer is to be part of that mission — bringing hope and encouragement to others through song. ➡️SOME OF MY FAVORITE BIBLE VERSES: 📱🙏🔥 John 10:10 "The devil, the thief, comes to kill, steal and destroy, but I the Lord God come to give life and life abundant." Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints, and marrow, and is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Isaiah 54:17 "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment, You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me." says the Lord. Ephesians 3:17-21 "that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.....
