Transforming Lives Through Skills, Dignity and Opportunity | Enlightened CBO

At The Enlightened Community Based Organization (CBO), we believe that empowering women and young people with practical skills creates opportunities, restores hope and builds stronger communities. In this video, we share the impact of our Tailoring and Reusable Sanitary Pads Project in Nambale, Busia County, Kenya. You will hear from beneficiaries of our reusable sanitary pads initiative, who share how access to reusable menstrual products is helping promote menstrual dignity and supporting girls and women in the community. We also feature our tailoring students as they continue developing practical skills that will help them become self-reliant, create employment opportunities and build sustainable livelihoods. A special moment in this video is our heartfelt appreciation to the generous donors and supporters who sponsored our students' National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) examinations. Your support is helping these young people take an important step towards professional recognition and a brighter future. To all our donors and partners: THANK YOU! Your generosity goes beyond financial support. You are investing in skills, confidence, dignity and the future of our community. Together, we are changing lives, creating opportunities and building a more empowered generation. Support our work. Be part of the change.
