Save & Restore Symbols Without Undo in Animate CC [Hindi] | Abmation Tools
Have you ever needed to temporarily move character body parts out of the way while drawing new shapes in Adobe Animate CC — but didn't want to hide them or lose your work by using Undo?
In this tutorial, I'll show you how to *save the position of symbols and restore them to their exact original position* using Abmation Tools.
This is especially useful when:
You need to temporarily move character body parts while drawing.
You want to keep existing elements visible on the stage.
You need to create new drawings behind or between existing elements.
You accidentally move a symbol and want to restore its original position.
You want to move multiple symbols and bring them all back at once.
You want to avoid using Undo and accidentally deleting newly created work.
I'll also show you how to use both the *panel buttons and keyboard shortcuts* to save and restore symbol positions.
In the tutorial, you'll see how to:
• Save the position of a single symbol
• Save multiple symbols at once
• Restore symbols individually
• Restore multiple symbols simultaneously
• Use keyboard shortcuts for faster workflow
• Handle shapes that need to be converted into symbols
• Temporarily move character parts while creating new artwork
This workflow can be extremely useful for **2D character animation, rigging, cleanup, drawing and scene setup in Adobe Animate**.
In the next tutorial, we'll look at how to permanently save symbol positions and restore them for future projects.
If you use Adobe Animate for animation, let me know in the comments what workflow problem you'd like to see solved next.
