This time, I had the pleasure of drawing Hana, an adorable Toy Poodle. 🐩🌸 This commission came from a customer who had previously asked me to draw portraits of two feline siblings, Mikke and Chai. I’m so happy to have the opportunity to create another portrait for them! The customer’s request was, “Since her name is Hana, I’d be happy if you could include a flower in the drawing.”（Hana means flower in Japanese.) Little Portraits was originally designed to feature a close-up of the face on a small canvas. However, as I looked at Hana’s sweet, upward-looking expression, I found myself wanting to add a little flower held gently in her mouth. With this little touch of my own, I tried to capture Hana’s unique expression and charm. 🌸 In this video, you can watch the portrait gradually come to life, drawn entirely with colored pencils. I hope you enjoy watching the process from the first strokes to the finished portrait. Thank you for watching. See you in another little dog moment. 🐾
