Driving around Izumi City, Kagoshima (出水市, 鹿児島県), the Crane Migration Ground in Japan

Izumi City lies at the northwestern corner of Kagoshima Prefecture. It borders Kumamoto Prefecture. It is home to over 10,000 cranes making their annual southbound journey between mid October to December from Siberia. The birds remain here till around March every year. Source: Izumi Navi
