One tough 1cc to do. I got hit like a dummy on the last regular map but I managed to recover by doing Gorge and Castle hitless. I chose to do Volcano first rather than last because I found this stage to be the hardest and I then could refill health on A-2 and A-1, but that turned out to be a mistake once I got more confident doing it. If I saved it for last I'd have almost full health entering Gorge Version 1.1 is quite different compared to Normal. Enemies fire suicide bullets from the get-go instead of after 5 lv.3 stages but you can also spam hypers as soon as you collect 100 items (which happens almost instantly due to the amount of bullets and your shots creating them) so you can remove a lot of threats from the game, unlike base game with it's 1000 item required hypers. There is an achievement for doing all maps at Level 3 + the extra stage, which was quite a challenging task. Vertical streaming stages in horizontal shmups are a nightmare.
