Age of Empires II: Shimazu Speedrun World Record (56:40)

Way too many voiceovers to actually do a real voiceover explaining things. I think this is almost an hour faster than anybody else I've seen so far. Here is my plan: Use a fishing ship to find the junks/shipwrecks on the west side, and another fishing ship to go south and east. Use the east one to go collect the dragon ship and use the dragon ship to clear the trade route down the west side/protect it. Be careful with the junks, they generate gold as they move and don't send them north right away as galleys will kill them. Build a feitoria asap and go for missionaries. Get 20 conversions for shipwright and cannon galleons. Use them to take castles down the west as they can all be ranged from the water. You will gain control of the enemy units around the castle and can use those to attack the northern Otomo base and the Ito bases on land that can't be ranged. Make sure to remember as you take castles that you will get a lot of ire and at 95 he invades. Use the cannons to kill the transports and destroy the docks so Shogun can't attack you.
