"Carolina When I Die" with Patrick Davis, Rusty Davis, Darius Rucker & Edwin McCain

"Carolina When I Die" with Patrick Davis, Rusty Davis, Darius Rucker & Edwin McCain. On Oct 29th 2026, I had no idea that I was playing my last gig with my old man... but if it had to be the last one, I suppose a night at the SC Governor's Mansion celebrating "Carolina When I Die" becoming the State Song - With Darius & Edwin & members of my Midnight Choir on stage - Well.. that's not such a bad way to say goodbye. This video is from my sweet mom's phone... it's a lil shaky and her lens was not exactly clean... but that doesn't matter now, because from this angle you can really see my Pops, listen to him play and see his big smile... I am positive this video will forever help me and the whole family remember a beautiful moment from a night that means even more to us now than it did then. Love you Dad... thank you for always playin' beside me. I will always miss you... but I also know I will always hear you there. Patrick
