They said Sky's the limit, but I reached for the Stars with this one!
Enter the Fool that can do it all, Nathaniel, the Creator, from the Solo Fool Mod simply named Nathaniel. While Nathaniel isn't a new Fool, but for a long while this Mod was broken due to the True Zeal Update. After some time, the Mod is back and ready to play once more, now with some new stuff to play with and some new visuals to go with it.
Nathaniel is a Party Member like no other as they are a "Deck Builder" Fool where you can create them however you want with a LARGE pool of Abilities either Offensive, Supportive, or any kind of Utility that you desire.
Nathaniel has an "Edit Deck" option that lets you start off creating your own Deck of Artifacts (Nathaniel's Ability Pool). Every Deck must contain 40 Artifacts, and you can play as many copies of whatever Artifact you want. In addition, Nathaniel also has Perks (Nathaniel's Passive Pool), which allows for extra bonus effects for Nathaniel to use to enhance the Deck and become stronger. Nathaniel can have up to 3 unique Perks, but you can only obtain one each by Leveling them up, gaining one per Level Up. These Perks are not stackable, so you have to play 3 different Perks.
Nathaniel comes with 2 Abilities at the beginning, which are "Artifacts" and "Engineer's Perks" both of which is what allows Nathaniel to operate.
Artifacts are what allows them to use the Deck and Draw an Artifact at the start of every Turn, drawing an additional one on the First Turn. They also will Refresh after performing an Ability, the Ability they use will be removed, and they can have up to 5 Abilities at once.
Engineer's Perks is what allows Nathaniel to gain the Perks that you applied to your Deck as well as gaining an additional 25% Damage Boost to all of their Damaging Artifacts.
With all that said, there are an INSANLEY LARGE number of things you can do with Nathaniel with this much customization and their Pools of Abilities and Perks. And with that power, I decided to create a Deck that really stupid in retrospect, but very Funny to pull off a few times.
I present to you: Exowak Turbo and Empty Boiler!
This Deck centers around 2 Artifacts a 1 Perk in order to operate these being "Iridescent Oil" an Ability that generates 3 Rainbow Pigment for either 1 Yellow or Red, but with the Cost of Appling Oil-Slicked and Fire to Nathaniel. "Quick Engineering" an Ability that let's draw 2 or 3 Artifacts for the Cost of 1 Yellow and any other Pigment. And Finally, the Perk "Perfect Setup" which makes it so that Artifacts you draw from the Deck will be in the Order of how you constructed the Deck, but at the Cost of reducing the Maximum amount of Abilities you can have by 2.
Inside the Deck contains 1 of each Piece of Exowak: Left Arm, Right Arm, Left Leg, Right Leg, and the Head. If you managed to use all Pieces within a Single Turn (The Head being the Piece that Must resolve Last), you'll obtain the Powerful Exowak as a Permant Party Member, which they are effectively just a Stronger version of Nowak in every way possible.
Then, after assembling every Piece of Exowak, we have a bunch of "Pressure Boiler" at the bottom of the Deck. Pressure Boiler is a powerful AOE Indirect Ability, but only if you have a small amount of Artifacts left in the deck, since it reduces the Damage by 1 for each Artifact that remains in Deck.
We created the Deck in a way where you will flip-flop between the 2 Artifacts, generating a ton of Rainbow Pigment to then be used for Draw Power as we slowly grab each Piece along the way to quickly create Exowak TURN ONE and then Drawing our Last Remaining Artifacts, which are the Pressure Boilers to then deal an Insane amount of Indirect Damage multiple times after.
Unfortunately, this deck isn't perfect, as there is some RNG involved as well as being VERY strict on how you order your Plays, which can result in us failing to draw a Quick Engineering and will be forced to end on the spot. However, by the time you get like 2 or 3 Exowaks assembled, you pretty much have already Won the Run.
