Racing Thoughts Tonight? Fall Asleep to 17 Psalms of Comfort | Read Twice | Bible Audio for Sleep

Racing thoughts tonight? Rest with 17 Psalms of comfort - Psalms 90 to 106, the fourth book of the Psalms, read slowly and gently, twice through, so you can keep listening as you drift into sleep. The video opens with a short introduction to Book Four: the prayer of Moses, the psalm of shelter, the songs of God as king, and two long psalms of memory. Then the whole of Book Four is read, from "Lord, you have been our dwelling place" in Psalm 90 to the blessing and the "Amen" of Psalm 106, followed by a few closing words, and Book Four begins again from the beginning. If your thoughts will not settle, you are in good company: "In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul" (Psalm 94:19). If there is something on your heart tonight, leave a prayer request in the comments - others who rest here may pray for you too. And if these readings help you rest, you can subscribe to Verses of Rest; new readings are added every week.
