Co-Everything - Community Building Across East Sussex | The Long Hop 2026

In June 2026, the Jeder Institute Beyond Team joined Go Together, Community Action East Sussex, Hastings Voluntary Action, Sussex Community Development Association, and Compass Arts for a remarkable week of community gatherings across East Sussex. "Co-Everything" brought together residents, VCSE organisations, local government and community leaders across four sessions in Plumpton Green, Hastings and Eastbourne - exploring what it means to genuinely do things with communities, not to them. Across the week, participants explored Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), participatory leadership, co-design, and what co-everything really means in their place, with their community, and in their work.
