Kingston ends Mount Vernon's postseason run

The Knights went on the road to Kingston in the NYSPHSAA Class AAA Regional Final and fell 81-78 in front of a capacity crowd at Kingston High School in a game that felt like a prize fight from the opening tip. Eli Abrams led Kingston with 28 points and Derek Constance added 21 with six 3-pointers. Tavien Tyler led Mount Vernon with 25 points, including six 3s, and Nate Edwards scored 24.
