1990's Lovely Village Life गाँव के वो सुनहरे दिन Purpose to make the video is to recall some memories of old days, when the life was not very comfortable, luxurious but was unfiltered, independent and beautiful with innocence. Here i have tried to show you the the glipse of unfiltered village routine as follows: 🌅 Early Morning (4:30 AM – 6:00 AM) | The Awakening The day begins well before dawn with the crowing of roosters and the early morning call to prayer or temple bells. Household Prep: Women are the first to wake, sweeping the courtyard (aangan), sprinkling water to settle the dust, and making intricate rangoli patterns at the entrance. Milking & Livestock: Men and elders head to the cattle sheds to feed, clean, and milk cows and buffaloes. Fresh milk is boiled for morning chai or set aside to sell at the local dairy cooperative. Warm Gatherings: The morning begins with hot tea brewed with ginger and cardamom, enjoyed together in the open courtyard as the sun rises. ☀️ Mid-Morning to Noon (7:00 AM – 12:00 PM) | The Daily Grind As the morning progresses, the village breaks out into dedicated activity. Fieldwork & Agriculture: Farmers head to the fields with tractors or bullocks to plow, sow, irrigate, or harvest crops, depending on the season. Domestic Chores: Women are busy in their household daily work, like cooking, looking after the cattles, picking the grains, spreading grains, wet clothes in sunlight, gathering around a well or near a pond, river to collect water etc 🌞 Afternoon (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM) | The Mid-Day Siesta As the sun reaches its peak and the heat sets in, the pace of life slows down dramatically. Mid-Day Meal: Families gather for a wholesome lunch—typically roti, seasonal vegetable curries (sabzi), lentils (dal), homemade butter, and fresh buttermilk (chaas). The Quiet Lull: To escape the heat, elders nap on woven wooden cots (charpoys) under the thick canopy of banyan or neem trees. Quiet Leisure: Men gather in tree shade to chat, smoke a hookah, or play cards. Women sit together in shaded verandas, peeling spices, drying homemade papad, or sewing. 🌤️ Late Afternoon to Evening (4:00 PM – 7:00 PM) | The Homecoming As the heat wanes, energy returns to the village streets. Children at Play: School finishes, and children flood the open fields to play traditional games like gilli-danda, kabaddi, kancha (marbles), or cricket. Cattle Returning: Farmers herd their livestock back home from grazing lands, raising clouds of golden dust in the evening light—a scene historically referred to as Godhuli Bela (the hour of cow-dust). Community Life: Villagers gather at local tea stalls (chai tapri) or the village square to discuss local news, politics, and crop prices. 🌙 Night (7:00 PM – 9:30 PM) | Winding Down Evening brings a peaceful, quiet atmosphere across the village. Evening Prayers: Lanterns or porch lights are lit, and families offer evening prayers (aarti) at home or the local temple. Simple Dinner: Dinner is served early, often consisting of freshly made flatbreads (rotis or bajra bhakri), light curries, and milk. Rest: With limited night traffic and early mornings ahead, the village quiets down quickly. Families sit together under the open sky to star-gaze and tell stories before turning in early for the night.
