▶ THE GOD'S TRAIL | Episode 4: The Hand The house is waiting for Maria's test. Money is running out, and Lily has learned to perform her faith for her father. Then, in a crowded fish market during the feast of the Assumption, a hand pulls Ashwin out of the path of a lorry. For the first time, he sees the stranger in daylight. And in the empty chapel, the voice he trusts asks him for something terrible: not to pray for Maria's healing, but to offer her up. "Be careful, Ashwin. The road does not care what you are praying for."
