Wild Camping in Heavy Rain & Gusty Winds

Despite the heavy rain there is something about camping in the rain with the sound of rain drops bouncing of the tent that makes camping so enjoyable! Forecast was supposed to be light showers and sunny intervals which obviously wasn’t the case when I started hiking up the mountain! Just goes to show why you must always prepare for the worst and hope for the best, thank god I packed my waterproofs😜, never seen so many people coming off the mountain soaked to the skin and some with no waterproofs whatsoever 🙄
