SCOPE - A 5? Films Production - A SCAD Summer Seminars 2022 Short Film

Made at SCAD Summer Seminars 2022, the single week version not the 5 week one. It's been a while since then, evidently, but I truly did have a wonderful time during this week beyond what I ever could've imagined and while I have little footage of the people who truly made it special, I'll at least always have this short to remind me of the time period. Most the people I worked with on this were really sweet, some were clearly thrown into it like it was a summer camp which was a little annoying to deal with, but as all film sets do we have issues and we overcome them AHEAD of schedule. Being that this was 2022, I'd lacked a lot of real collaborative experience in film or anything at all to do with the arts and so it was a struggle to feel comfortable calling myself good at anything or offering advice without feeling like I'm mansplaining or just being a know-it-all dick, but they reached out to me with open arms to help them edit and do a lot of the stuff I had personal experience in where they didn't, and that collaborative experience where it felt like they wanted my help to learn rather than making me do all the work or the opposite where I'm doing too much was the exact thing I needed to know what kind of director I want to be and what kind of set I want to ensure I foster. Every moment is a stepping stone no matter how big or small, you will learn something and no matter if it is a minute detail you got from 3, 12 hour shoots, or from a single week of 2 hour classes worth, it will be more valuable than anything you can cheat or pay for.
