Cambridge Food & Drink Week is officially here, and I’ve been hitting the pavements to see if the city’s newest food trails live up to the hype! ​In this video, I’m taking you on a journey through the historic side streets of Cambridge to explore the best of the independent scene. From tequila-based cocktails behind the Round Church to hidden gem cafes and the best spots on the market, I’m covering as much ground as possible to show you how to do this event properly. ​Whether you are a local looking for a new favourite spot or a visitor wanting to see the "real" Cambridge beyond the tourist tracks, these trails are a fantastic way to explore the city at your own pace. ​In this video: ​The Orator: Sipping on a "Shrubbery" cocktail in their stunning secret garden. ​Bridges: A long-overdue visit to this beautiful family-run cafe on Bridge Street. ​Bird & Blend: Healthy Matcha and tea-blending expertise on Green Street. ​The Market: Grabbing juicy lamb gyros from Kous Cypriot Cuisine. ​The Graduate Hotel: Riverside cocktails for £7.50 with the Love Cambridge card. ​Hot Numbers: Finishing up with some scientifically smooth coffee on Trumpington Street. ​Get involved: The event runs until Sunday, 17th May.
