Hanoi in 48 hours 🇻🇳 Our first stop in Vietnam takes us into the chaos, culture and incredible food of Vietnam’s capital. We explore Hanoi’s famous Train Street, try egg coffee and salt coffee, eat local Vietnamese food, wander through the Old Quarter and Night Market, experience Beer Street, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Temple, and discover some of Hanoi’s unique cafés - including the famous Note Coffee. And, of course, we’ll show you exactly what we paid along the way. This is Episode 1 of our Vietnam travel series and our first You Tube Video ever, but definitely not our last. Come with us as we travel from northern Vietnam all the way to the south, discovering the food, culture, places and experiences that make Vietnam so addictive. 🎥 CHAPTERS 00:00 Intro 01:30 Hanoi Train Street | Watching the Train Pass 02:21 Egg Coffee & Salt Coffee at Train Street 04:38 Hanoi Murals & Street Art 06:29 A Hidden Café in Hanoi 07:42 Local Vietnamese Food | Hanoi Dinner 10:44 Hanoi Night Market | Old Quarter 14:40 Hanoi Beer Street | Ta Hien Street 16:43 Day 2, Breakfast in Hanoi 20:10 Hoan Kiem Lake & Ngoc Son Temple 22:37 Note Coffee | Hanoi’s Famous Café 25:34 Pho Bo in Hanoi | Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup 🇻🇳 HANOI TRAVEL GUIDE Train Street · Egg Coffee · Salt Coffee · Vietnamese Food · Old Quarter · Hoan Kiem Lake · Night Market · Beer Street · Note Coffee · Hanoi Prices Travel Vlogs, Travel Couple, Travelling Couple We’re Peter and Rahel - a couple in our late 30s and early 40s who decided that waiting for “someday” wasn’t good enough. We met backpacking in 2019, fell in love, and have been together ever since. After years of dreaming about a location-independent life, Rahel quit her corporate job while Peter keeps working as a freelancer, and we took the leap, with no fixed end date. Now we’re travelling the world on a mid-budget, discovering local food, culture, nature, hidden gems and unforgettable experiences. We save where it makes sense, but love to splurge occasionally. We’re not low-budget backpackers or luxury travellers, just two people with a budget, a spreadsheet and a growing list of places to see. We want to show that you’re never too old to travel, dream bigger and step outside your comfort zone. Come travel with us. 🌍 Because life is too short to spend it all in one place. 💬 SOCIALS: Instagram: @peterandrahel
