Our First Year Degree students bring the timeless story of the Mahabharata to life through a powerful enactment of Draupadi’s Vastraharan, Krishna’s divine intervention, and the helplessness of those who stood by and watched. But this story doesn’t end in the past. The performance draws a striking parallel with the modern world, where we celebrate Raksha Bandhan, tie Rakhis and promise to protect our sisters — yet, when a woman is harassed, threatened or needs help, too often people simply stand and watch. The question is not “Who is her brother?” The question is “Why didn’t anyone help?” Protection is not the responsibility of one brother alone. It is the responsibility of every human being. 🤝 Because silence is not protection. Watching is not helping.
