Keep the extracted folders together when opening it in an editor that supports MLT. The underlying procedural scenes are also included. LOCAL MOVIE WORKSHOP On this PC, double-click Open Movie Workshop.cmd. It uses the existing Python runtime. Choose a time or shot, adjust glow, camera pace or the colour family, and press Preview frame. Preview is one still frame, not real-time playback. Save separate version copies the working assets to a new variants folder. Render separate movie creates a new version and renders/assembles its soundtrack. Rendering can take a while. The new folder has a progress file and render log. These operations do not overwrite the delivered film or its source evidence. The workshop does not upload, publish, use an account, or call an AI service. The GUI has not been interactively tested here. The actual rendering and separate-version operations were checked through their underlying functions. EDITING THE PROCEDURAL FILM edit/story.json: shot start times and scene names. edit/look.json: glow, camera motion, palette, title setting. render.py: characters, city, serpent, bridge and shot staging. depth.py: new face/contour visibility pass. trace.py: retained contour engine and camera transforms. prepare.py: extracts recording features and prepares the timed edit. finish.py: assembles the film and verifies decode, frames and audio correlation. Use a separate version for edits. Completed picture parts include configuration and file hashes; the renderer refuses to silently reuse incompatible frames. The included MLT is a conventional edit; changing it does not alter procedural scene geometry. Changing scene code requires a new render. DEPENDENCIES / PORTABILITY Python 3 with NumPy, Pillow and Tkinter; FFmpeg with libx264/AAC. This PC's existing runtime and FFmpeg were used. They are not bundled. Elsewhere, install the dependencies, put FFmpeg on PATH or set RAVEN_FFMPEG to its absolute path, then run studio.py. The scene uses Windows Bahnschrift; update the font path in trace.py when moving to a system without that font. No full subjective listening or uninterrupted visual review is claimed. See review/VALIDATION.json and review/SCENE-CHECKS.json for the actual checks. The earlier painter-renderer failure is retained as an initial storyboard.
