On the second day of our “survival” adventure at a raft house in Endau, Johor, we finally caught an Udang Galah! It's the world's BIGGEST freshwater prawn. We decided to cook it Japanese style! In Malaysia, giant freshwater prawns are prepared in many delicious ways, but in Japan, we keep it super simple to highlight the natural flavor.
