*Former President Kgalema Motlanthe says the slow pace of land redistribution remains one of the unfinished tasks of South Africa's democracy. Motlanthe who was was speaking at the second Professor Stan Sangweni Annual Memorial Lecture in Pretoria, said the late Professor Stan Sangweni was deeply concerned about the pace of land reform. *The family of the missing jogger, Elizabeth "Tsotso" Moselakgomo is expected to identify the body of a woman who was found murdered in Kempton Park over the weekend. Moselakgomo went missing on Thursday, the 10th of September, after leaving her home in Rhodesfield, Kempton Park, for an afternoon jog. Police are investigating the deaths of four women in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, between July and September. *The attempted murder trial of Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala and four others, his wife Tsakani, Musa Kekana, Tiego Floyd Mabusela and Zandile Nthabiseng Nzama, is expected to resume this morning at the High Court in Johannesburg. Matlala is accused of orchestrating three failed assassination attempts targeting his former girlfriend, Tebogo Thobejane, businessman Joe Sibanyoni and music producer Seunkie Mokubung, popularly known as DJ Vettys. *Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi says a regional meeting scheduled for today in Muscat, Oman will focus on a new maritime traffic route in the Strait of Hormuz. At the meeting, Iran and Oman will brief Gulf countries on the outcome of their consultations on the route and share a roadmap.
