I needed something in my crate with a funky bassline that pays tribute to sounds I loved in the early 2010s. I couldn’t figure out how to boost the drop’s energy, so I ended up changing the entire key of the track, which is pretty odd for dance music.' - Spencer Brown San Francisco based DJ and producer Spencer Brown returns to Anjunadeep with ‘Comeback Kids / Sweat Equity’, a double single that underscores his reputation for hypnotic, floor-filling productions. ‘Comeback Kids’, a standout from the Anjunadeep 16 compilation, provides a driving and melodic progressive energy, while ‘Sweat Equity’ leans into a sun-drenched, Balearic sound. ‘Comeback Kids / Sweat Equity’ is out now on Anjunadeep.
