Whalefall Live Reddit AMA w/ cast and crew

Took place October 9th, 2026 at Regal Times Square, New York City. I was invited to an early special 4DX screening of Whalefall, with a post-show live Reddit AMA with director Brian Duffield, author Daniel Kraus, and the main stars Austin Abrams and Josh Brolin. Before the event, we drop our questions on r/movies subreddit. I asked a question for the film's director Brian Duffield and writer Daniel Kraus. Surprised to see my question got picked, and as the first question too! (17:22) Thank you staff for picking my q and thank you Brian and Daniel for answering! The event lobby feature a whale photo op and delicious drinks and snacks, the auditorium entrance was a narrow claustrophobic balloon tunnel mimicking the inside of a sperm whale. We got a free sperm whale popcorn bucket, ice-cream, rain coat, water proof bag, and a parody survival guide for if you got swallowed by a whale. As for the film, it is a intense, moving, and unexpectedly surreal and beautiful survival thriller and portrait of grief and father-son trauma. #Whalefall #redditama #NYC #4dx
