Wandering Around the CSX Philly Sub - 8/23/03

This small trip started as an overnighter at the Perryville MARC station watching NS trains entering/leaving the Amtrak NEC. After grabbing a few hours of sleep in the car I ventured out early in the morning and explored the nearby CSX Philadelphia Subdivision. After catching the last freight off the NS Port Road Branch (24M) going under the CSX Susquehanna River Bridge, I then moved up to bridge level to grab the next 2 trains. After catching one more train at East Aiken, I drove up the line a little bit looking for another vantage point. I found the tiny road bridge at Eder, MD to be a decent choice, and taped the next 2 trains to pass it. Make sure you hang around at the end to hear the defect detector!
