Traditional Assyrian of taking out the bride out of her parents' home and giving her up to her future husband. a classic wedding tradition where a parent or loved one escorts the bride and from her parents' house to her future spouse. While it originally symbolized the transfer of ownership of a woman from her father to her husband, modern ceremonies reinterpret it as a symbol of family support. A dowry is demanded by brides' closest relative and it's usually a male member of the family. A dowry is request in form of money from the grom's family to the brides' family before the brides exists her parents' home.
