Alto Faure Requiem In Paradisum

Alto Choir Practice: "In paradisum". Gabriel Fauré composed his Requiem Op48 in D minor, between 1887 and 1890. This setting of the Roman Catholic Mass for the Dead is the best known of Fauré large works. The work begins with the dark and sorrowful "Introit et Kyrie", which is countered by the transcendent brilliance of the ending "In Paradisum".
