The Ferrari 156 F1, affectionately known as the "Sharknose", was Ferrari’s first mid-engined Formula 1 car and the dominant force of the 1961 season. With its distinctive twin air-intake nose and revolutionary 120° V6 engine, it delivered Ferrari’s first Constructors’ Championship and Phil Hill’s Drivers’ title, the first ever for an American. Tragically, the season was marred by a fatal accident at Monza that claimed the lives of driver Wolfgang von Trips and fifteen spectators, casting a shadow over Hill and Ferrari’s triumph. This 1:8 scale model of the Ferrari 156 F1 "Sharknose" has been handcrafted in collaboration with Ferrari, using original drawings, archive imagery, and precise digital scans to ensure absolute accuracy.
