Drosera capillaris "Long-Arm" and "typical" forms~ Sundews, Carnivorous Plants

Drosera capillaris, sometimes referred to as the "pink sundew" is found commonly in the southeastern United States "from Virginia to Florida to Texas. Forms are also known from Central and South America" (page 131 of The Savage Garden). The leaves can develop red coloration in bright enough lighting, but otherwise will remain yellow-green or yellow-orange. There is also a form that lacks pigment and is referred to as "albino" or "alba" since it's not an official cultivar yet. Plants do not form hibernacula (dormant buds), but the leaves of "Long-Arm" forms shrink back quite a bit in cooler temperatures.
