[✨] Shiny Groudon after 24,363 run away!! - Pokémon Emerald

I've been shiny hunting since 2011, and each time I catch a shiny, I still get excited when the target appears, but what about the procedure? To be honest, it's never been enjoyable. Today, we’re hunting Shiny Groudon in Pokémon Emerald. But there’s a catch: Emerald’s RNG is notorious for being broken. Because the initial seed is always hard-coded to 0, standard soft resetting is a waste of time—you’ll just hit the same non-shiny frames over and over again. Unless you’re lucky enough to have a shiny frame in the first few seconds of the game, soft resetting is a dead end. So, how do we fix it? We use the 'Run Away' method. It’s slower than resetting, but it works. By encountering Groudon, running away, and re-entering the room, we force the game to advance the frames naturally. It’s a grind, but it’s the only way to see that shiny Groudon! The broken RNG in Emerald is a nightmare, but the payoff is worth it.
