In memory of Bhai Akal Singh Zakhmi (on tabla in this recording) who passed away on October 14, 2026 and was born on February 5th, 1957. Bhai Sahib was an amazing tablachi and the son of Bhai Shamsher Singh Ji Zakhmi. Thank you to an anonymous kirtan premi for sharing this video, which was done during their 1983 tour in Toronto with Bhai Shamsher Singh Zakhmi, Bhai Mohanpal Singh accompanying on the side, Bhai Akal Singh Zakhmi on Tabla, and Bhai Nihal Singh on Mandolin.
