🎣 The carp were EVERYWHERE… but could I actually catch one? Welcome to Episode 1 of Return to Carp Fishing. After being on and off carp fishing for the last couple of years, I’ve finally got the bug again. In this episode I’m back on the bank for a proper solo overnighter on one of my club waters here on the Isle of Wight. From the moment I arrived, the signs looked good. Carp were showing, jumping and moving around right in front of me — but as every carp angler knows, seeing them and catching them are two very different things! This session wasn’t just about catching a carp. It was about getting properly back into something I love, spending a night on the bank and learning a few lessons to take into the next session. I also pushed the filming much further this time, using multiple cameras, different angles on the bait boat, night footage and timelapses to turn the session into a proper story.
