3 Ships Arrived at Silloth... With 3 Very Different Cargoes

CM NEPTUNE arrives with a cargo of bottom ash from Kilroot power station, Ireland, the cargo is discharged and taken to nearby Thomas Armstrong Concrete Blocks Ltd, where it will have it's second life in construction, used as a lightweight aggregate in the manufacture of concrete blocks. Next to arrive is edible tanker, ZAPADNYY with a cargo of mollases. The cargo is discharged into dockside storage tanks to be mixed in the harbour-side factory to make Crystalyx, which is a high-energy feed supplement for cattle and sheep.
