The highlight has to be Hossegor. With its incredible beaches, world-famous surf, beautiful lake, pine forests and lovely town centre, it's easy to see why this part of France has become one of our favourite places so far. We're sharing our motorhome stops along the French Atlantic coast, the places we explored, and what it's really like travelling through France as a family in our Chausson C656 motorhome with our two girls and our dog, Dougie. But finding somewhere to stay doesn't always go to plan! As we head towards Biarritz, we discover that every campsite seems to be full. With a Spanish bank holiday weekend in full swing, finding a place to park up becomes a challenge.
