Chimes in the Mistral / ミストラルの鐘 Silver sky begins to fade, Waves are whispering your name. Footprints vanish in the sand, The wind returns again. I feel the rhythm in the air, Like memories that never stay. Every sound becomes a prayer, Carried far away. Chimes in the Mistral, ringing through my heart, Dancing in the twilight, pulling me apart. I keep on running through the wind and time, Chasing what I lost beneath the fading light. Empty roads and glowing signs, Echo softly in my mind. All the colors start to blur, But your shadow lingers on. Every breeze recalls your voice, Calling softly from the sea. I can’t escape, I have no choice — You’re still inside of me. Chimes in the Mistral, ringing through my heart, Dancing in the twilight, pulling me apart. I keep on running through the wind and time, Chasing what I lost beneath the fading light. Let it ring, let it flow, Through the night I’ll never know. If the dawn will call your name, Or just wash away the pain. Chimes in the Mistral, echo through my soul, Winds of memory take control. Using today’s technology, I rebuilt it as a vocal work while preserving the original melody and ideas.
