Rash Behari Bose: The Revolutionary Who Escaped to Japan | Indian Freedom Struggle

In 1912, Rash Behari Bose helped organize the attack on Viceroy Lord Hardinge in Delhi. Three years later, after the failure of the 1915 revolutionary uprising, he escaped India and found refuge in Japan. From there, he spent decades working for Indian independence, eventually becoming a leading figure in the Indian Independence League and helping establish the political foundations of the Indian National Army before handing the movement to Subhas Chandra Bose in 1943. This is the story of one of India's most remarkable and complex revolutionaries—from the Delhi bomb to Japan and the INA.
