Located 25 million light years from earth in the constellation Canis Venatici is a galaxy known as M106. We image it using Electronically Assisted Astrophotography and unravel the mysteries surrounding it: A Super Massive Black Hole in the center and an extra pair of spiraling arms. The location we shot from is 6,000 feet in elevation and has Bortle 2 dark skies.
