Around 10 to 12 charpoys (traditional woven beds) were laid out, and shepherds from different regions were gathering there alongside their herds. Curious, I asked them, "Where did all these charpoys come from?" They explained that every shepherd keeps his own charpoy here. After wandering through different woods and grazing areas all day, they bring their livestock back to rest under this tree, share updates on their day, and enjoy meals together. Brotherhood & Weekly Gatherings: Everyone brings different homemade dishes, and they all share their food around the circle. They brew fresh hot tea together twice a day. Every week, they host a special gathering where they cook together—sometimes savory Plao, traditional Sohbat, or fresh homemade bread. A Generous Landowner’s Sadaqah Jariyah: The most heart-touching detail is how this spot came to be. The local landowner sold all his surrounding land, but intentionally kept this specific plot around the tree. He dedicated it purely for the sake of Allah to serve travelers and hardworking shepherds as a shelter. Today, after a tiring day in the sun, all the shepherds sit in this cool shade and send heartfelt prayers to the person who preserved this tree for them.
