curiosities in my hobonichi a6 inuyasha, and a tomie weeks unboxing

Okay, post credits rant - I do love the weeks but the fingerprint thing is severely throwing me off. i was comparing the hiroko kubota weeks that i have which is very similar to the tomie weeks material, but the kubota one doesnt catch as much fingerprints as the tomie one, why is that?!!!
