Mother Hear My Call

From the musical MYTHOS “MOTHER, HEAR MY CALL” — Song SIX Demeter, the Goddess of harvest and fertility is grieving the loss of her daughter. Endless winter follows as Demeter mourns her daughters disappearance. Persephone, her daughter, who was taken to the Underworld by Hades, is calling for her mother as she yearns for the world above. MYTHOS re-imagines the ancient Greek story of Persephone and her mother Demeter, Goddess of the harvest — a myth of desire and defiance, love and loss, darkness and light, and the changing seasons of the Earth. © Lina Eve 2026 Created in collaboration with Dave Highet and ChatGPT (OpenAI)
