What started as a simple lifter swap on my 1967 Southwestern Bell service truck quickly spiraled into a full-blown engine overhaul. First, I found bad valves… then worn-out cylinder bores. Just when I thought I had a solution, I picked up a rebuilt 240 that had been sitting for five years—only to find out it was locked up!
In this episode, I break down everything that went wrong, tear into the seized engine, and finally get the truck back on the road where it belongs. It’s been a wild ride, but the truck is DONE.
