Peter Rodman of KBCO, Boulder, Colorado talks with Dan Fogelberg in a rare conversation about the music and the man who makes it. Fogelberg sheds new light on the motivation behind some of his classics and offers insights into the making of a landmark two-record set, The Innocent Age. This promotion-only vinyl was released in 1982, but based on the interview content, it appears to have actually been recorded between August and October 1981 — after The Innocent Age came out, but before the tour for that album started. While a small number of physical copies exist among collectors, this recording has never been ripped or made available online until now.
