≪蒙古の馬～Mongolian Takhi≫ Colleen Schmuckal作曲

2018.01.14　第20回湖北台ニューイヤーフェスティバルにて収録 三味線：コリン.シュムコー、十七絃箏：樹本佳音里 2015年にカザフスタンを訪れた際、シルクロードの薫りが漂う美しい音楽を通して、中央アジアの文化に酔いしれました。この作品の三味線と17絃という構成は、リズミカルで遊び心に溢れたカザフスタンの伝統的なリュート楽器『ドンブラ』の響きと、モンゴルに伝わる特殊な歌唱法(2音同時に発声する)『ホーミー（喉歌）』の影響を受けています。その響きは、広大で色鮮やかなカザフスタンの夕日と彼の地の生活や音楽に深く根ざしている野生の馬を想い起させます。 (コリン.シュムコー) Jan.14.2018 20th Kohokudai New-Year Festival Syamisen : Colleen.Schmuckal 17strings Koto : Kaori.Kimoto In 2015. I traveled to Kazakhstan and immersed myself in all things Central Asia while observing the beauty of musical culture influenced by the Silk Road. The soundscape for this composition is influenced by the rhythmical and playful nature of the Kazakh lute "dombra", as well as the harmonic freedom and bending of overtone pitches in Mongolian singing "khoomei". These musical sounds hark back to Kazakh’s vast, endless sky with its numerous colorful at dusk and freely roaming wild horses, which remain an integral part of daily life and music.
