“Jo Mange Thakur Apne Te” is a sacred Shabad that reminds us of the limitless grace of the Divine. It expresses the faith that when a devotee surrenders wholeheartedly to the Almighty, every need—spoken or unspoken—is fulfilled.
This Shabad teaches us that God knows what is best for us even before we ask. True devotion is not about demanding, but about trusting. When we place our faith in the Thakur (the Supreme Lord), He blesses us with peace, strength, and abundance according to His divine wisdom.
Through this rendition, I offer my humble prayer—may these words deepen your faith, calm your heart, and remind you that no sincere prayer ever goes unheard.
🙏 Waheguru Ji , Shukrana always
May His grace always guide us.

Lyrics and Explanation
जो मांगे ठाकुर अपने ते, सोई सोई देवे।
नानक दास मुख ते जो बोले, ईहा ऊहा सच होवे॥
Whatever a devotee sincerely asks from the Lord, He grants according to His divine wisdom. Guru Nanak says that the words spoken by a true servant of God never go in vain—they come true in this world and in the hereafter. It reflects the power of truthful prayer and surrender.
चतुर दिसा कीनो बल अपना, सिर ऊपर करु धारिओ।
कृपा कटाक्ष अवलोकन कीनो, दास का दुख बिदारिओ ||
Here, the Shabad describes God’s all-pervading presence. His power spreads in all four directions, and His protective hand always rests above the devotee’s head. With just one compassionate glance, the Lord removes the pain, suffering, and hardships of His servant.
हरि जन राखे गुरु गोविंद।
कंठि लाय अवगुण सभि मेटे, दयाल पुरख बखसंद॥
This reminds us that the Guru and the Lord always protect their devotees. God embraces His servant with love, forgives all shortcomings, and removes inner flaws. The Divine is merciful and forgiving, blessing the devotee with peace, purity, and grace.
🌿 Essence of the Shabad
