At abandoned Airbase Zeljava Croatia, July 17, 2023. zeljava-lybi.com/Zeljava-index2_eng.html Željava Air Base, situated on the border between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina under the Plješevica mountain, near the city of Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina, was the largest underground airport and military air base in Yugoslavia and one of the largest in Europe. The facilities are shared by the local governments of Bihać and Lika-Senj County of Croatia. This plane was overgrown with plants and completely abandoned, but in 2023 a local entrepreneur took care of it and made it accessible to the public again.
