The Lightning Are Showing ANOTHER Legend the Door

This week's episode of Top Shelf is presented by Enterprise. The Tampa Bay Lightning are once again playing hardball with a franchise icon. Following Nikita Kucherov’s trade request and confirmation that he won't re-sign in Tampa, the Top Shelf crew breaks down the messy contract standoff between Julien BriseBois and the reigning Hart Trophy winner. Are the Lightning justified in holding their financial line, or are they slamming their Stanley Cup window shut by pushing another legend out the door? Plus, we break down Kucherov's 10-team trade list, potential landing spots (Utah Mammoth, Montreal Canadiens, Minnesota Wild), and debate what contract he actually warrants on the open market. So how did we get here? The guys on Top Shelf break down who's right and wrong, the best landing spots, and how much money the reigning NHL MVP is actually worth.
